| The Happy House Project, Watamu Kenya provides aid, succour and a safe haven for orphans in the Watamu and surrounding areas of Kenya. Howdra Maids has for many years been privileged to associate with the 'Children of Watamu Charity' at the Happy House and contribute its 'widow's mite' towards the betterment of the lives of these vulnerable children. It is with a view to further assisting the Home that Howdra Maids will be hosting the 2012 Happy House Charity Shield Football Tournament. Registration is therefore open to teams to compete in the - Teams will compete for the "Happy House Charity Shield" in both age groups. The former Manchester City and England football icon, Trevor Sinclair will be on hand to present the Charity Shield to the champion teams in both age groups. To see one of the greatest goals (he) ever scored click here. The Tournament will take place on Saturday 7th January 2012, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, at the Jebel Ali Center of Excellence, Dubai. All matches are 7 a side. The registration fee per team is AED 500 (payable on the day at the venue) All team registration fees and other sums raised will be donated to the Children of Watamu Charity at the Happy House (Watamu, Kenya).
